Intuitive touch or motion controls aren't everything.  Sometimes you need precision - that's where things like a stylus or tactile buttons help big time.

Wasnt there suppose to be something for the PSP and a racing game. The PSP acted like a rear view mirror or something? Did that ever happen?

Games is what matters, I am sure NGP will have great games, Monster hunter, FFs, and such but again, games are the vital points, and in that term mario wins, monster hunter could be huge yes, but nintendo has pokemon, which is 2 or 3 times bigger, NGP may have FF but nintendo is probably going to have DQ so you could call it a tie, and so on... Now the 3ds will have mario (And many of them I am sure) there is not any other portable game that can match mario (Well yes pokemon... P)

 You could use the move controller to make your 50'' 3D tv acting as the second screen play like a touch screen too!
