Hmm, I would say PS3 only because Sony stuff, should always be played on sony software! :)

What if you have a Sony PC?

lol

it doesn't matter, it will be sony software regardless of the hardware you play it on

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

Check out my hype threads: Cyberpunk, and The Witcher 3!

The bigger question is (assuming your PC can run it smoothly as well), is where do you feel most comfortable gaming?  Being an MMO itll be a long sitting so would you prefer at a table on a chair? or kickin back on a couch on a bigger TV?

I know MMO are bigger and more user-dedicated but seeing as how this is a Sony game im sure Sony will put more effort and support on the PS3 version to get gamers to play on the PS3 in the long run. IMO.

Sony game Sony PS3 Sony TV = Sony win x3

Sony game PC = Sony win x1, Microsoft win x1 ...thus...not in Sony's best interest lol =P

Me personally i would play on PS3 cause i like to sit back on the couch playing on the big screen...and my PC keeps crashing everytime a run a game which never happened before but now always happens =( ...if anybody knows why, much appreciated.

fix your graph card, my guess it is getting very hot or just fried for intensive stuff. Either way a new graph card should fix your problem. Alternatively try uninstalling and reinstalling the driver

PC

1.  It simply runs better.

2.  The PS3 crowd won't commit, over the next year the very good PS3 lineup will take away their attention and the PS3 crowd will dwindle.  The game does not allow cross platform play.

now i dont have the game nor played it BUT what i have herd is that it was made for PS3 and the menus and action buttons suite the ps3 better

but ur second point does make sense

The menus are much better on the PC, they're a pain in the ass to navigate with the controller (and you can use a controller on the PC).

I generally use a controller for gameplay mainly because I'm left handed and it's difficult to find a keyboard setup I like but when I go through menus I always use the mouse and keyboard.

There's a delay on everything in the menu with the controller and you can't do everything you would like to be able to do.

I bought the PC version first since the PS3 version was sold out at launch and a PC friend wanted to play together.  Was curious what it was like on the PS3 as I would rather play on my big screen TV so I went out to buy the PS3 version as well.

After playing for a month, here is what I found.

Game is designed for a controller for movements and battle.  Went out to get a Logitech gamepad on the PC and it works great.  Graphics is awsome on the PC - much smoother and sharper looking.  Menus and chat is is easier to access.

PS3 version looks pretty decent BUT after playing on the PC with the graphics at maximum, I couldn't go back to play on the PS3.  It was more buggy, more laggy and difficult to chat with people as navigating the menus is not intuitive on the PS3.  The basic game play is the same but as some others have said, MMOs are just mroe at home on a PC.

Another thing is if after 1 month of free play you think you will stick with this game for the long run (more than a year) then get the lifetime membership on the PC as it will be way cheaper.

One thing you have to be aware of - make sure you turn the auto renew OFF or your account will be auto renewed.  I turned that off on the PS3 but didn't realize that the PC version still auto renewed!

Thanks.  I've already tried uninstalling/reinstalling the drivers before and it didnt change.  Its just weird cause i've been playing TF2 for years on my PC then i stopped for awhile, and then when i went back to play again it just now crashes every time.  Gah I'll never understand PC xD ...its stuff like this that puts me off PC gaming and just stick to console.

I think your graph card is getting too hot, simple solution see if you can borrow a mates and try to see if it works then. If it does and doesnt crash its your card
