Not buying. I've had poor experiences with Bethesda games.

Is the usual bugs, bad animation, or something new: Im curious, lol

PS - my keyboard is crazy. I cant do question mark anymore

Just found Oblivion had boring environments and horrible combat. Tried Morrowind and couldn't get into it. Bethesda RPGs are absolutely not my thing.

hell yes I'll buy it! Loved Oblivion and Morrowind.. I'll get it for 360 since I don't have a PS3, and I'm not sure my laptop can handle the epicness of Skyrim.

Yeah, day one, Skyrim is one of the reasons I built my PC just recently.   I will also get it on PS3 as well,  mainly to play it again and to platinum the game.   I will probably wait until the GOTY edition comes out for 360 to get that,  just like I did with Oblivion.

I will be buying it for my PS3 !

Who's the best Pac, Nas, and Big. Just leave it to that.

PLAYSTATION®3 is the future.....NOW.......B_E_L_I_E_V_E

Slaughterhouse Is The Sh*t  .... NOW ........ B_E_L_I_E_V_E

Yeah, ok. You have a different taste. I , on the other hand, love open-world RPGs

Maybe... Oblivion, I did not like - if it's much better, then I'll consider it.

did you see the trailer? it is much better.

Trailers only make me more (or less) excited about said game. When it does come out, I'll check it out.

i know a story in an rpg is very important. but an amazing world is as good. you should really consider it. it wont have the me like story but youl feel something diffrent.

And how exactly do you know world will be amazing after few short trailers?

Only thing that can be said about Skyrim is it will have pretty graphics - gameplay and story is big question mark and after Oblivion and F3 it's better to not be too optimistic about quality of those parts in the unmodded Skyrim.

No Chance. I already fell for Oblivion while I was waiting for FF13. It was by far the worst RPG experience that I ever had. There was not 1 thing that I liked about it. It was outright horrible and I just couldn't see why it got so good reviews. I played it for more than 30 hours... just wasted time in my opinion.

But after having played Dragon Age, Borderlands and Sacred 2 I must say that those PC-style games are just not taste. I just can't accept that they have so an absolutely boring main story or character development (esp. Main character). Those 200 Sidequests are absolutely senseless and get boring pretty quick. I even tried out the Mass Effect 2 Demo, but I didn't like it at all.

Maybe it is just a cultural issue. It seems that open world, sidequests, dialogue choices, moral systems, etc are just very popular in the US and the UK. I just can't stand them. I already get disappointed if a game starts with a "create your own character" screen... Its already a synonym for a silent character and a bad main story for me...

I don't want to offend the fans though. Oblivion just gets me mad because it was the first total flop for me in years. I read Reviews and fan comments and everyone praised it, it got many GOTY awards.....I just didn't expect that I would not enjoy the game at all.

So Oblivion became a symbol for me not to trust reviews anymore. No matter how good a game may be actually, if you just can't stand certain game designs you just can't enjoy the game.

I'm going to buy the best version obviously. That is: PC.

You just played bad games Sacred 2 is crap, Dragon Age is boring, Borderlands is shooter with Diablo 2 equipment looting/skills system, Mass Effect 2 is again shooter with dialogues and rpg lite elements.

I think you could like Witcher - one well defined hero you only level his skills during progress of game, sidequest are generally quite nice (apart from first village where there's some fetch me x items quests) and the game is main story driven with sidequests being mostly optional just to level up also no open world so you won't be pointlessly wandering around the huge and empty world.

edit: also Kotor 1,2, Jade Empire could also be more of your cup of tea.
