If Steam sales count as the bargain bin, than probably. There are so many games I'm looking forward to besides this...Portal 2, Pikmin 3, Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword, Rock of Ages, The Grinder...Elder Scrolls would be an after thought.

I'm not sure if I'd like Elder Scrolls. Pokemon, Borderlands, and Monster Hunter are the only 'rpg' games I have liked. If it's anything like Final Fantasy, Fallout, or anything with linked hits, I'll most certainly pass.

Yeah, sales and Steam sales count as bargain bin.

Are you mainly a Nintendo player? You havent played Oblivion, right? Do you ever like open world games?

Is this thread broken?  hmmm.

YES!  First day.  I haven't made my purchase decision yet, but currently leaning towards the 360, just because that is my default console of choice.

I've been a lifelong Nintendo fan, but recently I've embraced PC gaming. I have not played Olivion..or dragon age or witcher. For me open world games fall apart when the main gameplay mechanic is boring, dull, or not useful. I don't like Fallout, final fantasy, jrpg's, or any gta not named gta iv.  I love Just cause, gta iv, and Zelda.  Also, Witcher has shacking up dialogues...bad filler is bad. Ultimately if Oblivion has great gameplay and is constantly fun and exciting, maybe I'll hop on board.

I'm not much of a story guy either...my rpg choices show it :)

I'm not sure yet , the latest trailer was good, I need to watch more gameplay footage from actual gamers not from Bethesda themselves , so far so good.

As soon as the next steam sale on an elder scrolls game comes, I'll make a purchase.

I'd say you have a decent chance of liking Oblivion and no doubt a great chance of liking Skyrim.

U can get Oblivion for like $10 so no big risk.

Do u have a good PC btw?

That guy hates Oblivion lol. But he likes to post in Elder Scrolls threads.

Slimebeast kinnda asked me a similar question and regretted it later.
Oblivion had potential but the experience was ruined because of Bethesda incompetence ,if they deliver a complete and probable game then I'm in .
