why do you need to crush a minnow, its pointless. Wait for the game against Canada apparently Australia is going all out. Australia is also trying to get said minnows out, it is pointless for them to be in there. They are just pointlessly stopping more deserving teams make it to the next round.

How can you say minnows are pointless, when in this world cup they have shown they can compete. Especially Ireland.

I don't think Canada will be an easy match for Austailia either, but they probably will win. It will probably be a high scoring game. 

edit: looks like my prediction could be very wrong. Canada started off well, but are collapsing now.

If the bigger teams treated teams like ireland and kenya as a sri lanka, india or England we wouldnt be getting surprises. The issue is they are getting treated as minnows, the big sides are testing their teams to see what they will do against other big teams. 

This is how i can say it.

England have lost to Bangladesh and Ireland. Almost lost to Holland.However they beat South Africa and tied with India. Very suspicious results. Possible corruption and match fixing has taken place. Sub continent bookmakers offer good odds. 

I honestly wouldnt expect England to be part of this. Unless there was injuries or otherwise. Though I think everyone was surpised about Hanse Cronje

I am starting to think England will be knocked out early (will it be a first?) some of their crucial players have fallen ill.

kinda predictable, it is proving what australia wants. You need to earn to make the world cup not be put there coz you might be good for crickets future.

edit: nvm misread it...not sure where ICC is now, but I think it's a mistake to remove the new countries. They need experience, they could have beaten way more teams if they had experience to give them an idea on how to. And let's not forget Ireland, they have played brilliantly. They can give any  team a run for their money.

and also, not like all test playing nations play well, even the strongest teams now have had situations in the past WC's where they played real poorly

looking into a bit more, it appears that the ICC HQ is Dubai. And also that the for the past two WC's (from 2001-2008) CEO of ICC was Australian.
