I'm a bit surprised they're bundling the PS3 with DMC4 of all games. The series has never really done well in Japan.

400k, 300k, 200k, chronologically in the series for launch sales in Japan alone is quite good Parokki. Super Mario Galaxy only sold 260k in the launch week during the holiday. Given that SMG is still selling 50k+ each week, but comparitively the DMC series still holds its only.

I... guess this will help? I don't know. The Devil May Cry series to me seems like one of those "Ok sellers" that are good games but don't have the broad level appeal to be bigger games. I'd still take DMC projections with careful optimism.

I think this is just one of those games that appeals to people who visit the boards here so they are hyping it beyond belief. (Like the Zack and Wiki campaign, the way people were anticipating that here it was as if you epected it to sell 3-4 million.)

In otherwords, a great game that just isn't going to move much.

wow such a big drop off for DMC3

 I agree, the game will sell okay and might move some systems, but nothing compared to the effect DW6 had. I thing Yakuza 3 will have a bigger effect.

u guys are overstimating this bundles potential. DMC4 in my opinion won`t sell over 200k in Japan in PS3. So at much 30k sales from this one.

Damn, i might sell my PS3 to get this one. I love whitle consoles and i'm guessing the bundle will be cheap to be appealing.
