MGS is still a big deal in Japan; I expect that to have a much larger impact.

Gran Turismo 4: Prologue outsold Devil May Cry 3 by a hefty margin in Japan (it sold over twice as well), so it's safe to assume that GT5:P is a bigger deal than DMC 4. I think BOTH are pretty big, personally, but if DMC is a "big title," then GT5:P must be considered one, too.

Yeah, but remember, DMC1 happened to launch at almost 400k in Japan dispite a MUCH lower install base (than DMC3) and being an unproven new IP. One of the reasons might have been that the Japanese simply didn't have much games to play at the time, makes you wonder how badly the Japanese are starving for a new great PS3 game.

I dont think the 360 version is being released in Japan so you can consider the game Japan exclusive. it might be 3rd aprty but they know it wil be a major seller in Japan and the PS3 is the main dev paltform.

Ok then, Apparrently Sony doesn't have any problems bundling 3rd party games in Japan.... If DMC4 does sell quite good due to the pack-in, what are the chances that Japan will see a MGS4 PS3 bundle? 100%? They need to do the same over here. MGS4 pack-in could do wonders for the PS3 in America.

Does someone know if that bundle has a sixaxis controler or DUALSHOCK3?
