Great idea Stof! I'd like to participate as well. I don't have much SNES stuff so I guess I'd like a new SNES game. I really like JRPGs, Platformers, Fighting games, Side-scrolling action games, and adventure games. Actually I like almost everything. I'm not real picky. Surprise me!

For SNES I own only Super Metroid and Donkey Kong Country 2.

I'm assuming we want to send these to each other Xmas day?

Considering how I'll be basking in the sun on the beaches of Cuba during Christmas, I think we can go right ahead and exchange games now. It'll be like an early christmas to to tide us all over till we get that Neo Geo that's waiting for us under the tree.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

Great idea stof! Sign me up. I can get for BenKenoby or Naznatips (or whomever). SNES game is fine for me. RPG, platformer or arcade. Message me and we'll exchange Wii codes.

Okay, well whoever I get is going to have to wait till tomorrow when I get paid.  Other than that, this is fine.  Enjoy Cuba!  Americans get arrested if we go to Cuba >_<.  I hate our government sometimes.

Good idea....needs a spreadsheet or a list at the first post, though. That way we know who has been gifted and who is waiting. Also, what if someone already has the game? Like, for instance, say I want an SNES shooter and someone sends me Super C....but I already have it (Or does Nintendo not allow that). That's not my gift of choice, btw. I'll have to think about it.

If someone sends a game you have (I believe) it automatically takes you (the receiver) to VC to select another.  Also if they send something you don't want you can also 'exchange' it for one you do prior to downloading.

No, the Wii tells you before you send the game if the other person already has it. That way you never make the mistake in the first place.

Gamerace and I are going to exchange Stof.

Damn, should've created my account earlier, this way it looks poor with just 2 posts and requesting a gift ;) But I guess it wouldn't have worked out anyway because as far as I know it's unfortunately country-bonded, so unless someone from germany wants to make a present exchange (broad hint^^)...

Anyway a great idea, wish I could send you NES Mega Man II or something you guys haven't got on VC.

So Merry Christmas to all of you and I hope you all receive some nice gifts :)

Edit: Oh and for those not sure if the recipient already got that game, Nintendo stated: And don't worry about duplication. If your friend already has the game you're trying to give, you'll get a simple message and be bumped back into the catalog to continue shopping.

Is it country specific or region specific? Because I thought The various European countries could exchange. But just in case I'll make yours Germany specific.

From what I know it's country locked but it seems you can temporarily change your wii settings for another country and then send it there, haven't tried it out yet though. But that would mean it would be at least europe-wide for me ^^
