The funny thing about the "500 million" advertisement campaign is that MS probably have spent more than 1 billion to develop the hardware and software behind Kinect but no one says anything about it (even MS).

About 360 sales,I believe that the new model, plus games like Halo Reach and Fable III have been helping the salesas (maybe as much as Kinet).

About Wii sales, it is simple: no new games means no hardware sales this is Wii is down YoY.

Maybe but Kinect Sports is making a good amount of money back as well. I for one, own a wii and have always loved nintendo but MS has or should I say upgraded a few wii fans that I know of.

I'm not to sure the sales came from fable and halo reach, not anything over what they would have already got in any case.  They are great games, I own them both but I don't think they would have sold no where as close to what they have without Kinect.

Kinect sports is bundled with every kinect, it's not making any profit that the hardware isn't 

KINECT ADVENTURES IS BUNDLED EINSTEIN! KINECT SPORTS IS NOT.
