Awesome deal, just got it and passed the info on to a couple of friends. To all you guys bitching about the shipping, if you insist that you are getting fucked, then just tell yourself it's the other way around, 8 whole dollars for the game and 2 bucks for the shipping.

Can't speak for the others but for me it's not about "bitching about getting fucked".  It's the fact that on top of costing THEM more money to ship the damn code, the consumer also has to wait for it when they could have just made the download price ultimately the same cost and instantly emailed it to us.  Great deal, just a dumb way to go about it.

This is all I see.

In other words make the download $9.74 and give us access right away.  Same price and no shipping involved.  Why is that so hard to understand?

It's not hard to understand at all, I got a great fucking deal, no matter how they want to get it to me, bottom line.

Why not get a "great fucking deal" through a "sensible fucking method"?  That's all.

Why? Because Amazon says so and I don't have this feeling of entitlement that everything should be how I want it to be.

I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

You really don't understand, do you?

I know what you say totally makes sense but what do you think gets you more sales?

1- listing the game at $10, attracting the attention of every news and gaming blog?

2- listing the game at $4 $1.74 and hiding the $6 shipping cost as well as possible, attracting the attention of every news and gaming blog?

Both of those, pretty much the same but the key difference is it's a lot easier to entine people with a $4 $1.74 game than a $10 game.  You end up spending the exact same either way, it's just that mental perception that makes the difference in the same way that the different between $299 and $300 seems like a lot.

....and, they shipped it already, just got the email from Amazon.  At first I thought the shipping update was for my Razer Onza, wasn't even thinking it would be for this already.

Wrong.  I understand perfectly, I'm just not as easily fooled by it I guess.

Apologies to Nsanity for any delrailment.  I agree with the great deal part for a great game entirely.  Just got rubbed the wrong way when I was attacked for voicing my opinion about their (Amazons) silly method.
