With Killzone 3 coming out in about a week and not to much known on the NGP Killzone title.

Where do you all see Killzone going from here? KZ3 wraps up the "trilogy" that started on PS2 back in 2004. Most of the likable characters are dead (while Rico is still alive......). I'm not sure where they can go from here.

The NGP Killzone title might be a prequel. But that wouldn't make for much of a game, since the real fighting started in the first game when the Helghast invasion of the ISA's colony on Vekta. So been there and done that already.

So I personally don't know what's left, unless GG and Sony decide to make a Online Multiplayer game for KillZone until they cook up another storyline that will likely not be that very well told in the games themselves.

Probably a few prequels akin to the Halo Reach then further installments afterwards. Like in every franchise, I think company would be foolish not to use the IP's name or story to develop more games and bring in more cash.

Lets play Killzone 3's campaign first and judge later.

Thinking that there may be a couple mor still to come. here is my prediction: Killzone 4 now you are in control and the Helghast are fighting for survival. Killzone 5 maybe a look back on how the helghast came into existance and you ar some sort of person in a resistance trying to stop the Helghast from becoming a major problem. Maybe a killzone 6 focusing more on online play just launching attacks and defending around the globe and in space in order to destroy/protect key objectives while keeping it mainly an online game where you and your buddys can launch attacks on places with a large group.

Killzone 4 will be coming, I promise you. Play Killzone 3 and you'll know that for sure. What it'll be about and where etc remains unknown for now..

Yea guarentee a prequel or itl do a "this is what happened between games"..... Im sure itl be sweet either way

umm so this game wraps up the story, why is it classed un interesting by reviewers. 

I would have to wait and see when i play but i still think that GG should make one final epic that finishes the KZ universe and wraps everything up and have it released year before PS4 released at the end of PS3. Then focus on there new IP they are currrently creating

i wish GG would make another FPS that is much more fluid gameplay than the KZ games

Oh my God. I can't even.. comprehend the audacity of this statement. But not just me, it would completely outrage all Killzone fans, and Guerilla would get about as much heat as Sucker Punch did when they changed Cole's face.

But on topic, I remember reading an interview where Guerilla subtlely stated that they were actually working on a new IP. I'm actually a lot more interested in that than KZ3, since KZ3 will probably go in the bin once BF3 comes out, and it makes me sad that so many people are bashing KZ3 because of the abudance of FPS's coming out.

I bet guerrilla will get yearly installments of it to get the max amount of $ out of the name.
