this is an outrage!

i paid for it with my own money and i can do whatever i want with my property!

what next? will they tell me i can't shoot people with the gun i bought?

Oh my god! Can you make your sarcastic comments at least somewhat relevant and funny?

Shooting people is illegal. Hacking your console is not

 

Edit: a better example(still not even remotely similiar) would be, I bought a gun can I modify it to be an automatic?

I'm responding to the one saying that don't playing online is a exception... and my PS3 isn't modded. PSN is in auto logon.

I don't play on PSN because i don't like shooter that much... for Multiplayer i preffer local.

Automatic guns are also illegal, so your example is just as bad.  Try again.

yes, I know. That's why I put "(still not even remotely similiar)". But it had you modifying something that you originally bought. And was much more similiar to the point on hand then his statement...
