We are getting bombarded with tablets from all companies big and small, but they are all 8 - 10'' sizes.

Why don't they make a 24'' tablet that people can haul around the house and a dock for when you sit at the desktop.

This will be like an all-in-one computer except that it's thin and light enough so that you will have no trouble taking it to the couch and not burn a hole in your lap.

Because it would be big, heavy, expensive and have no battery life ...

Not exactly the properties people want from a portable electronics device.

It's not meant to be portable to be taken outside.

I read the original post, but making a 24 inch tablet PC for home use is kind of like making a 12 inch Nintendo DS for home use ... The market for such a product is small because it becomes completely impractical for what people use these devices for.
