Forums - Sony - Help me create my own GT5 OST

I just got the game yesterday and I played enough to realize the game promisses many hours of fun and challenge. Too bad the graphics are way below what I expected, too bad I sometimes wish the game had learnt well from Dirt 2 in the collisions and car wreckage department and too bad I cannot download patch 1.05 because the PSN network is working really really bad (more than 200 minutes to download 608 Mb!?). I sometimes think that Sony is just subterfugely trying us all to pay "Plus".

Anyway, the game still looks as a great game and I really like the fact that you can change its music (that's a great thing cause I don't like much what it comes with).

Would you kindly recommend me great music to help me run better? Both the expected and the unexpected.

Thanks guys!

Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong

Well, the service has always been too irregular for me and I used to blame my internet connection about it, but at this point I know it's not. Does it have anything to be the fact that I live in Argentina and therefore the server ranks me as a second class downloader? Maybe, but probably not.

I had a really hard time to download 21 Mb of the Mirror's Edge trophy patch, can you believe that? And now this...

Anyway, can you recommend me some music to inspire my racing?

I love to listen to this song whenever I'm doing something epic

distance to servers

It doesn't detect your Ip and say oh argentianian and slow you down.

You have to remember you are getting it for FREE, remember that, SONY is taking loses on this every day to run there many server farms. Take what you get because you are paying nothing for it.

and no the cost didn't come out of the console either because sony took loses on those as well.

Well, you've got yourself a solid point there, but think again:

One of PS3 seller points was that you don't have to pay to get that service. And when I bought it, when I lean to this console over the Xbox360, there was no Plus or whatsoever on the horizon.

Sony have built themselves an image of quality products and services, and as a costumer, when you buy a product you are expecting quality assured. Specially when you are on a crusade against piracy, which I celebrate by the way.

Then again, patches are demandatory to play online!! And free online gaming is also a selling point! Therefore, imagine how you feel when your patch download fails over and over again after consuming almost an hour each (cause, remember, you cannot download patches and play simultaneously). It is just... not nice.

i say add an new service called speed download thats an pay service. invest in improving network and once the speed download pays its self then continue improving the network for the free users then everyone wins.

Only problem would be to either add to PSN or have an seperate cost at around 30 dollars an year.

that could be an great idea and down the road the network will be improved. because sony cant afford to upgrade an free service at the moment they aren't doing that crash hot and in massive debt

I can be patient and hope for the service to become smoother soon enough. Sony deserves patient costumers after all they are providing us. But I don't think I am asking too much, just what I was offered when I bought the console.

Anyway, mchaza, you still owe me a piece of music, at the very least!

I'd put endless Initial D music lol

Lets see...

Walla Walla, All I Want and No Breaks - All three from The Offspring. I love Crazy Taxi's soundtrack, cuz... ia know, its crazy! =B
