Forums - General - What do you think of Canada?

The area of Canada that I have stayed in features bustling towns and cities, vineyards, resorts on vast lakes, and these three flags:

It would be pretty fun to be a canadian mounty.

I think of Canada as the country I will move to if the United States votes in a Repulican President anytime soon. So I like Canada as a potential place to live and become a citizen because some conservative politics in America scare me.Cough, cough Christian Right, Tea party, and Texans.

I also like Canada for its hockey teams and the fact that they provide premium weed to alot of the US.

I love my country Canada we our a multicuntural society French English Inuit And all live together thats why there is no true Identity of Canadians

US, but with less fat people, less black people, and more low quality roads riddled with potholes. Also, less patriotism, we don't put flags on our doors and talk about how were the best. We also have much lower crime (Homicide rate in Toronto is about 100 people a year, out of 6 million people. For Manhatthan it's 2,000 people a year out of 8 million people...hmmm...), and we keep our doors unlocked without worry.

Note: I'm Canadian

And appearently racists too.

I have a lot of family in the US, go there all the time.

Also how am I racist? If you go to any rural part of the states, houses are covered with 10 or more american flags, in my family's neighbourhood the least I've seen were two on one house. Obesity rates in the US are 1 in 3, in Canada it's 1 in 10 and in Europe it's even less. I already said why US homicide rates are higher, and do you ever keep your front door unlocked, even if you leave the house?

I'm just stating the facts, and when you go to the Us or Canada, you see these facts come to life. I have never seen a 400lb person before in my life, until I went to McDonalds in Georgia...

Well thats not exactly true. French People live in Quebec, the bulk of Japanese people live in Vancouver, and Chinese live in Toronto. Anything east of Quebec is white people, either French or English. Between Ontario and BC it's also white people, moreso Eastern Europeaners, and some Native Indians. Up North you have Inuite people along with more white people. Also in every major city you get a mixed bag of Indian, European, and Asian people, but very few black people all together.

So none of us really live together, we live under the same government.

Canada gave us Celine Dion... we'll never forgive them for that... never!

We also produced Justin Bieber. Start your hatin'

Canada gave us Rush so, Thank You Canada! You have to produce really a lot of crap before I forget that. (thank you also for Annihilator and Davin Townsend.)

Neutral I guess, as I am to most countries, the only country that I sort of dislike is America I guess, but the part I dislike is a minority of the culture as a whole. Canada seems nice, although the snow avalanche stories and intensly low temperatures are some of the few horror stories I keep hearing about that place. Tbh, I thought America owned Canada before I did Geography lulz.

And damn you for producing Beiber.
