There's somthing that has been bothering me -- the way you guys have been handling trouble-makers -- and I feel I should say what's on my mind. Now, I'm not trying to bash you guys. Instead, I'm just asking a question, and that question is: how are you guys handling puppet accounts? Stof, the main mod in charge, has said there's no way to tell if it's a puppet account, since you guys don't track IP addresses. What's being done to prevent this?

I absolutely agree here. If someone wants to be a jerk, it's simply too easy to create a new account and then do whatever you want: for example, you can even create a legion of yes-men, who do nothing but agree with your main account, in order to make it appear like many people agree with you.

I say ban both of these accounts! :P

What I hate more than people trolling, is the cats that run around trying to get others banned.

That's pretty funny, whether or not you did it yourself.

I'm not sure if it's a big deal, really. If somebody goes through all that trouble, they clearly have enough time on their hands that deterring them will be a trial.

As long as mods keep the more obvious miscreants in check, I'm satisfied. If dummy accounts are otherwise abiding by forum rules, they aren't a major nuisance.

It is a big deal, fam, as it has been one of the main problems on this site. Gamer Girl Elite, for example, has been the cause of many problems¦ this is because she gets accused of being Gballzack, which just turns things into flamewars. Wow, another grandmaster! Guys, that isn't me.

You haven't been around long enough to realise how god damned annoying puppets can be.

I have asked this question before and at this moment it seems Ioi simply can't do IP bans or track IPs, even if he could both are extremely easy to avoid.

However I really do think we should ban the more obvious puppet accounts even if they claim not to be puppets, I really don't get why GGE gets away with it when it is so incredibaly obviously GBall.

Just so everyone knows, I created the Grandmasta1 account, mainly because I enjoy irony. Don't get mad at the OP please :)
