You never said "townie X" only "player X", and yes there is quite a distinction.

The trouble is townies don't know if the person agreeing with them is a fellow townie or mafia. I seem to think like prof on a lot of things and that makes me very wary that he could actually be mafia leading me in the wrong direction. On the other hand, when several players seem to think the same then I know at least afew have to be townies and there's a good chance I'm on the right track.

However both can be very helpful.  If only one agrees vs if several agree.  Either way it can give important information. That's why I said townies look for it as well.

This annoys me, but if it helps you stay in your "robot" mindset, which does seem to be communicating more clearly than before, then I'd rather you stay that way than revert to what it was before.

By posting things that get responces. By putting presure on people and trying to force them to role claim.  Plus many other possibilites.

Okay, fair enough. I've just yet to see that in previous games and the mafia quicktopics hadn't given me that impression. I can understand the pressure part the most, but I figured it'd be "safer" for mafia to just let other townies get the ball rolling on a mislynch and then find a way to get a vote in to add to the pressure if needed. As far as I've seen, there's only a roleclaim when someone is about to be lynched, a cop has made a guilty investigation,(and can't convince others subtlely) or there's a massclaim going on.

Alright, now that I'm not replying to newer posts anymore I'll go back trashleg's vote on ABC.
