I strenuously disagree.  Your position is essentially that a mod can't even say he's pleased people enjoy the flavor, for fear that someone will make a conspiracy theory out of it.

Or are you saying simply that he should have kept silent about prof's conspiracy theory he built around TOS's original comment?  I wouldn't object to that, although I can't really assign any significance to it.

Don't worry, I'm not too fond of modkills or replacements either and of course I give him some time to respond. TruckO still needs to get the info, too, so he still has some time left.

I made sure that you realised that I did notice the mention of the scalpel in the flavour text, but I just didn't realise that it was actually going to actually mean anything. I suppose that makes me a "Did notice, didn't know" - but I did notice, 100%.

Having read the flavour multiple times, I obviously noticed the part about the scalpel, but I didn't think anything of it. I know that this makes no difference to your idea (because that would still give me the reason to attack rep if I thought that he could be doctor), but I don't want to be grouped with the people who didn't notice it at all.

Your first post mentions that you specifically noticed "the flavor", wheras the new one says that you noticed "the scalpel". You also made it clear that it was the flavor.

Is scummy little radish trying to avoid suspicion?

Did you notice the scalpel and did it make you think he was the doc? Answer as clearly as possible.

I don't know you're town, but I am more suspicious of those that say they knew for certain than those that say they weren't sure.(Those that didn't notice it at all stand out the most though)

I wonder if you should put me in the same category as noname; because, as I explained in my post, I thought it could also be a clue as to how the aliens get inside of the heart. I did read it as a clue, but not necessarily indicating that Wonk was the doctor. Well that does sound more like "noticed, unsure." Whatever, I'm more interested in what you make of the whole thing then how you feel about me individually.

Well, I THOUGHT I'd noticed -- I read the flavor and did not overlook the fact that Wonk had a scalpel -- but maybe not, based on your new conditions:  I didn't really think about the night post in terms of clues, because it didn't matter to me.  

When the day started, I would have used the Night and Day posts together to try to suss out potential "hidden messages" -- except that by then we KNEW Wonk was the doctor.  Thus I saved myself effort by not bothering to do unnecessary speculation.  

In any case I did not know.

there are no NEW conditions; it is only being made clearer for people who are being picky with semantics.

It's simply, "did you know wonk was the doc due to the scalpel". It cannot be any clearer.

So, your answer is, "you read the word scalpel, but it did not make you think he was the doc".
A couple people now are making this distinction. "I read the word scalpel, but didn't think it meant anything". 

My thoughts are, ironically, "no shit, sherlock". You read the word scalpel, so did everybody. I'm asking if you knew he was the doc based off of this.

I'm going to take your reply as NO to both.

I was assigning suspicion to people who did not notice.

Truck acted surprised that someone had noticed. As truck is also privy to the mafia quicktopic, that reflects information. Whether it is true or not, he should not comment about suspicions. 

You also call it a conspiracy theory, when truck0 practically admits it, "You can read into anything can't you".
