theprof00 said: There could be several reason for the night kill: A) mafia believed I would be lynched today, saving them a night kill and getting a townie who was suspicious of Heph (assuming Heph and Linkz are mafia). Same can be said of Heph, as in, they thought both I and Heph could be eventually lynched. A) That's very accurate. You became lynchable with that hammer and both FF and I commented on your vote during twilight. I'd add that ABC was a free of a kill due to a similar lynchable position today. B) They went with someone who's death wouldn't specifically implicate a mafia. B) Rep did have his usual town tells though... so either they know them and picked him for that or they tried to have a rather neutral character take the blame. Neutral characters were Stefl, Radish, and Rep (FF and Nord gave away their neutrality at the end of the day, Trash is affected by my flip due to day one suspicions)... the most neutrals were stefl and radish though... but also the most absent this round. C) They didn't go with any of us (heph, linkz, myself) because they thought everyone might bandwagon onto one of our suspects. Doesn't make much sense with Heph, though. Both linkz and my suspicions were pretty high for Heph. Eliminating Linkz or myself might have guaranteed a lynch for Heph. Additionally, killing Heph might have made both of us look bad. Assuming that linkz is mafia, that could've turned out badly. C) That's a risky theory for them... not killing someone who can induce a lynch train is a risk... it does point out of one of us 3 being mafia (though I believe you and Links fit more that criteria...). A kill of Linkz would not have guaranteed my lynch and... well I guess your kill was not an strategically sound since the hammer made you lynchable. To make a summary 2) Kill linkz: Put more focus on Heph (and possibly prof) 3) Kill Heph: possibly lose a free lynch; lose a prof attacker; give a free pass to Trash 4) Kill ABC : possibly lose a free lynch; solidify prof; make a couple players look bad 5) Kill Trash: Points at Heph buddying; solidify prof Guys feel free to add to some of that. I'm not entirely sure who was defending or attacking whom, so some help would be appreciated. OTOH: the kill may not have been driven by one of these. It could have been to implicate someone else who was feeling pressured by him (though I did not appear to notice any of that), or because they thought he might've been a power-role. |
