Yeah probably, i was just stumbling around with a beer in my hand cursing @ Kinect and Dance Central

At work, I wound up with "search lane duty".  I have to stand there like an idiot and make sure people aren't trying to sneak weapons and explosives into our worksite.  I tend to make bullshit small talk with people, too.  Me and some other guy were working side by side.

Some guy came through the search lane with a broken leg.  I asked him how that happened.  He said he broke it playing volleyball.  "What!?", I said.  "Volley ball!?  Don't ever tell anybody that, again.  If somebody asks, you tell them you broke your leg MMA Fighting."  The guy laughed.

The guy working beside me then told me that he broke his finger......playing volleyball.......on Kinect.  He then proceeded to tell me about how his family got Kinect for Christmas, and how well it worked--not like any of those other cameras, either.  Then he started talking about getting Zumba Fitness (or some other fitness game.  I'm pretty sure it was Zumba, though.).  I faked like I had no idea what Kinect was and that I was amazed by what he was telling me. 

So while I've never seen Kinect working in person (and I still intend to buy one, eventually), based on what this guy on my job was telling me, it's very responsive and immersive.  I smiled on the inside.

--edit-- and for the record, this guy was a forty-something overweight guy.  Not my idea of a forum dwelling fanboy type.  I have to believe he was sincere in his opinion of Kinect.

yea usually your chances go up bu that is if you can dance. I got laid so many times just cause I can dance and  pop and lock.

I can sympathize with that.  Well, don't get too down yet: you might have swung and missed, but that doesn't mean you've struck out just yet!
