A Half-Million Sample KZ3, Guerrilla Preps Patch If you track back to later last year, Guerrilla has been testingKillzone 3 for quite a long time. And the most recent test, the multiplayer public beta trial currently available to download from the PSN, may prove to be the most fruitful. This is simply due to the sheer number of participants: around a half-million, according to the latest update at the game's official site. We found the private beta to be pretty damn solid last year, but Guerrilla has noted new bugs and issues that need to be addressed. A patch, which is already available in Europe and might drop today in North America, should fix most or all of the following problems: As for raw numbers, Guerrilla reports that over 500,000 players have already participated in over 350,000 matches and there have been 55 million kills. This is all in the first week of the multiplayer beta's availability, so that's pretty impressive. A single-player demo will be up on the PSN next week - February 15 - and the hotly anticipated PS3 exclusive will hit store shelves on February 22.
