Hasn't this been going on at either Best Buy, Target or Amazon for over a month now?

I bought mine (2nd) PS3 2 weeks ago from Amazon with a $50 credit.

yeah pretty much all but one week in Jan. had a deal, and Kmart aswell, there even in store deals

surprised its not reflected in the NA numbers on here

They couldn't get enough the first time- so the girls are back- TO RESLUT!

Newegg is doing it, too.

Why haven't they done any deals with the move bundle.  I'd actually be tempted to pick up another PS3 if they did.

Why are you guys buying or thinking about buying 2nd ps3's? What the hell do you want with another one?

I wish I had the money to buy at least one ps3.

Netflix/blu-ray/games in another room.  It'll be even better if they implement cloud saving.  Plus it would be good to give my 60GB a break from time to time.

For me, it's a trade-off; I'm fortunate enough to be currently employed at a job that pays me very well, but not fortunate enough to have the free time to take advantage of having all three consoles.

This gen I have bought 2 PS3's, 2 Wiis and 3 360's: I have "loaned" (given) my nephews my white original Wii (I bought and kept a black one) my 60GB PS3 (I recently, as noted, bought and kept the Slim) and my Elite 360 (I sold my old Pro and still have my redesigned 360).

For what it's worth, I may be getting laid off soon and will have to learn to live without all the extra cash!

On topic: I am NOT saying this proves that Sony has over-stuffed the retail channels, but it does suggest that there is SOME excess supply as retailers are looking to stimulate demand.
