And the PS3 has only 1 software entering in the top 10 with 40k. What the heck?

im surprised the last story gave it a boost. wii was down 10k last week. this week its less. so its all good.

Wii's overall baseline seems to be deteriorating somewhat quickly. I wouldn't be surprised if it was below 10k without TLS. PS3... to be perfectly honest I'm not entirely sure. Some have said it's because of piracy, others say it's Torne. But piracy has always been pretty much non-existent in Japan across the board. I think it's a combination of people buying it for Blu-ray and Torne. And also the used game business is probably really cutting into SW sales.

people are still broke from chrismas give it another few months 

The reasons that seems to make the most sense is the popularity of the used games market.

The sales are excellent, considering that another 10 games debuted in the same period on the top 30, and considering that rpgs are not very popular on the Wii, and considering is a brand new franchise, when will it be launched in the americas?

ahh and thats why the Wii (20.000 yen) sold less than the PS3 (29.980 yen)? should it not be the other way around?

holy crap how the hell are prices that close, the ps3 is worth atleast double the wii with the tech thats in it (blu ray drive, cell processor ect.) so no it shouldn't be the other way around since ps3 is more value for their money, nintendo is really doing good to sell decently with taht much of a profit margin

It just needs a price cut. Now with 3DS and NGP in the scene, the Wii never looked so outdated.
