I wouldn't count PC games along with console games. Take away the PC games and the list makes sense.

7 shooters, a WRPG that heavily involves shooting, an RTS, and a platformer. Geez.

TOB should be switched with SMG.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Crysis, and UT3 don't belong anywhere on that list, since they're buggy as hell, a generic shooter, and a franchise update, respectively. Also, Mario Galaxy belongs at the top.

LOL Apparently your mad because I disagree with your precious list?  What a great mod you are attacking someone for sharing their opinion.  Why make a post if you not going to like what people have to say?  I didn't like the list as I don't think PC should be included, what is the harm in that.  Sorry if I offended you mr PC guy :)

I don't think the Orange Box should be top, it should be rated by it's individual games, and if that were the case, Portal would be somewhere high up on that list, but apart from maybe TF2, the rest are easily dismissable.

PC games are just as valid as console games, get over it.  That said, I don't totally agree with this list...but it's not a bad list.

A lot of FPSs were released this year...lots of franchises...it's not surprising that a lot of them would make it onto a top ten list of the year.  If you don't like FPSs, then play something else...it's one of the most popular gaming genres right now, so you'll just have to deal with it.

 

SSJ, must your sig be so big? It takes up a much space as 3-4 normal posts. You could easily get read of some of the spaces between lines, and you could combine Unreal Tournament/2k4/3 like you combined Counterstrike, etc.

I understand what you mean...but HL2 is amazing, Ep1 is quite amazing, though not as good compared to HL2 and Ep2...which is AMAZING, TF2 is near-perfect, and Portal is refreshing and funny. They threw them all together for the price of one game. Screw it, it deserves to be on the list.
