Was the 360 adjusted down just now? The gap is only 4.0 million now but it was 4.1 million before the Americas numbers...

360 adjusted down 90k

PS3 adjusted up 140k

Wii adjusted up 20k

Lol.  You know, these adjustments may be perfectly reasonable, but they do tend to favor PS3 over the past year, even the little ones or semi little ones.  I mean, a 230k difference was just erased.  That's a decent amount.

Wow, the PS3 is getting destroyed by the 360 in the Americas! Almost 2 to 1.

yeah, thats pretty creepy.. i didnt remember it to do THAT well... i think Sony has to cut the PS3's Price by .... 150%? to win against MS in NA right now.

wait you mean, pay the customers $150 to get one?

sony wont cut the price of the ps3 soon, exchange rates makes america not so important than europe and a price cut in the us would mean they probably have to cut the price in europe too so it would end up with too much losses. I doubt they are going to cut the price this year because they all exclusives will keep the ps3 selling.

this wasnt meant to be taken serious :D

i think there has to be a 50$ cut, and some really good bundles to come out in the near future to compete. otherwise, i think NA will be lost territory for Sony this gen. (compared to the number of Boxes sold, of course.)

I'm a Foreigner, and as such, i am grateful for everyone pointing out any mistakes in my english posted above - only this way i'll be able to improve. thank you!

When Japan sales pop 360 and PS3 will be tied again. This is interesting.

If MS, by any chance falls a but in the US (not totally, just a tiny bit), they are fu**ed.

Where people look at it as a great thing, i find it really sad. MS can´t get a foot in Japan and completly lost Others....all they have is the US market. Even sadder is the fact that they only have themselves to blame, they don´t even try anymore, they know that the american people will buy anything they throw out.

The understand why the american people buy the XBox above all, is the same as Japan with Nintendo and Sony, they are national consoles, so why go to a foreign one, but when a company only has "one game" to release this year so far (Gears of War 3) and a lousy peripheral (it has an enormous potential, but the modders make a much better job than the ones that developed it), you have to ask...why?

Yeah, I don't know what us 360 owners are going to do this year. Only 1 game is releasing for our console for the entire year! All the exclusives except Gears of War 3 were cancelled, and all the multiplatform games were shifted to be PS3 exclusives. The Xbox LIVE Arcade is being shut down too.

And that peripheral Kinect (fastest selling consumer electronics device in history) sure is lousy. It won't do anything to help the 360's sales. It's weird how the 360 is still outselling the PS3 despite having 1 game versus the 16,524 exclusive games alone releasing on the PS3 in 2011.

Wait, was that surprising to you Tigris? I mean, most X360 users who wanted ME2 have it. I'm not saying the sales are stopping for that version anytime soon, but its been about a year so its kind of expected. The PS3 users are basically playing catch-up since they missed out on Mass Effect last year.

The sales of both versions will start to even out at some point I'm sure.

I was thinking this when I read your post. US isn't the world and as long as PS3 can keep close to the x360 worldwide as it is doing, the overall sales graph isn't going to change drastically.

I am not sure of the current exchange rates but the euro is worth more than the $US and the yen is strong so as long as europe supports the PS3 and to a lesser extent Japan, the revenue should roll in.

OT: Awesome NA sales for x360, the others OK.
