I'm headed for the Platinum as well. Mass Effect 2 is definitely the game to accomplish this. :)

I'm choosing Vanguard Renegade for the next playthrough.

That's exactly what I did. It was a blast. Both metaphorically and literally. Max out Charge and Incendiary and enjoy. Might I also suggest Geth Shielding as your extra power as getting in so close can be dangerous if you're not careful, and the extra shielding can be a life-saver.

That's exactly what I did. It was a blast. Both metaphorically and literally. Max out Charge and Incendiary and enjoy. Might I also suggest Geth Shielding as your extra power as getting in so close can be dangerous if you're not careful, and the extra shielding can be a life-saver.


Yeah, I'll also add some extra difficulty, because I want to experience the game in many ways. The amount of DLC in this game is overwhelming. *Gasp* To think that there is one more bit of DLC coming our way. :p

The costume packs give you variety when it comes to battling with commander shepard. I suggest the aegis armor and terminus armor as opposed to the  Blood Dragon Armor. The Aegis armor is fully customizable with each piece of armor comes with its own bonus. IE: Body, legs, head etc. I also bought the extra helmets. They are badass.

Oh, I have all the DLC released so far. The costume packs I was referring to wasn't the potentially useful armour, but the utterly useless extra skins for the NPCs. Y'know, the new one mentioned earlier in this thread (post 6) that gives Tali, Miranda, and Grunt a new outfit. No point in them at all, but I'll probably still shell out for them like an idiot.
