The sequel to the good, but overlooked Mount & Blade was recently announced, adding to the great list of new Paradox games. Rejoice gamers. I know I´m glad.

It's already in bargain bin edition here :D

I guess that means they are making World Wide release of what was basically only adaption of Mount & Blade into Polish history. But at least it will have game breaking bugs fixed :)

Also that's how our CE looked like:

It's not a true sequel, it's more like a spin-off based on a popular Polish historical novel. It's made by a pro mod group, not the M&B developer Taleworlds. Publisher Paradox thought it was so good so they decided to pick it up and sell it as a true Mount & Blade game.

It isn't based on the novel.

It is based on historical setting and only thing in common with novel is title because novel (written by the same guy who got Nobel prize for "Quo Vadis") is known to everyone who finished primary school.

Mount and Blade was so overlooked that it's sequel Mount and Blade: Warband was overlooked completly apparently.

Aha, okay. So isn't the novel about 17th century Europe at all?
