So, Jon Huntsman just quit the ambassador to China job in what is believe to be a indicator of a presidential bid in 2012. If you don't know who Jon Huntsman is, here is an article that briefly outlines how he could be a contender in 2012

Personally, I'm very excited about this. Before now, I've kinda been a little half hearted on the Romney train. Although I don't think Romney is really any better than Obama, so I didn't really care that much. However, being a resident of Utah and having had Huntsman as a governor, I know first hand how excellent his leadership skills are.
Under Huntsman, Utah was voted the best managed state in a study by pew research.
He is a fiscal conservative and social moderate (matching up perfectly with my own stances)
he has the best foreign policy credentials of any presidential candidate in years.
The question though, is can he win? I think he would stack up very well against Obama in a general election, but I think is primary election chances are a little slim.
He is pretty much an unknown outside of Utah at this point, but he does have over a year to fix that.
He has been part of the Obama administration, of which the tea party nuts probably won't be happy with.
He is a social moderate, which again the tea party won't like.
He is a mormon, which is still looked down upon.
what do you think?
