Final Fantasy Versus XIII.

That is all I'm gonna say here.

omg so much fail.

Would you like to explain why you're beating up on my opinion and a random article from a completely different website? Because then maybe you'll have a point. Now, it just seems as though you're trolling, and whilst it may not be your intention, I feel as though my point was pretty well put forward, so I believe yours should be as well.

I'm also lookng forward to them. However, I just feel as though after the past few installments, they need something just a little more energetic and different to keep the series alive. If any of these 3 games do that, then that's fine. But for now, I feel as though they should AT LEAST try something different. Otherwise we'll never know.

Also, you'll be surprised how many people disliked FF13. Many people liked it, yes. But it wasn't as highly acclaimed as many expected.

Apparently 6M sales equal burnt out. Let me go make a thread on how burnt out mario is with them 20M sales!!!

The person that wore the article is just a fuckin crybaby. He'll get over it.

yes it is. past titles arent getting better in quality. and as wrpgs get popular ff games get less. gamers of the future wont be jrpg fans.

only big ff fans are on this site, and they are a minority!

Being in 3rd place never felt so good

People have always had the wrong expectations for the franchise.

Final Fantasy is for Square-Enix what Mario is for Nintendo.

It's not because I've played (so-so) games like Mario Party 8, Super Paper Mario or Mario Strikers that I'm going to doom the franchise to die.

Final Fantasy is just a name. Just a tag to help sell the game.

Every new Final Fantasy is a new game, a new experience. They aren't related one another.

Thank goodness there is someone else with the same thoughts of me on this site!

Why is it that pretty much no-one on this site reckons the quality has dipped as of late, but everyone I know who has either 13 or 14 reckon it is?

Also, Wagram and others, READ THE ARTICLE! IT'S ABOUT THE QUALITY OF THE GAMES. Not the sales. No-one's talking about the sales anywhere. Otherwise Just Dance would be much better than FF13, which it isn't.

I was talking about Jim Sterling's article. It's so very flawed.

I didn't even read what you wrote in the OP lawl and I didn't even know who posted it when I wrote my post.

I read the article on N4G so I already knew what the thread was about.
