what about ones that were airshipped that werent counted? if Jan-Feb HW stock was airshipped for Dec i would assume kinects were too

Is that true?  Did they really not count that in the 50 million consoles and 8 million kinects announcments?  That seems like an odd thing to do, of course I'm not a multi-national corporation.

kinda hard to say i dont even know the exact amount of hw and kenicts were shipped last Q

what are you living under a rock? and it is kinects, not kenicts. get  your shit straight

Damn chill ur hormones

LOLolololol!

OT: Probably 2 million. Its hard to tell. Maybe it was just a Holiday thing, maybe it wasn't. I don't see any software that would make me think that it will sky rockets in sales.

The only thought on the "Holiday Thing" is that is what was said in 06 when the Wii launched....

And then the Wii began to bring in some good software. Kinect has had no new software announcements in months, if it keeps up that way sales will drop sharply. Thats common sense.

That's exactly what i said in another post.  M$ needs more software for the  360 and the kinect.

Under current rate of sales as being tracked by VGC; between 2-3m.

With no major new Kinect titles this month, I would expect sales to stagnate slightly until the next wave of releases.

Sales should drop 30 percent in the Americas by the end of febuary and stay there through the end of Q1.

So I strolled down memory lane (looked at the worldwide charts) for early 2007 to see what great motion control software was released for the Wii to keep the momentum going. Now remember this was a totally new console and also just needed software period. The 360 is getting new software in addition to new Kinect titles.

Week ending Feb 10 2007 - Cooking Mama
Week ending Feb 24 2007 - Sonic and the Secret Rings
Week ending Mar 3 - SSX Blur
Week ending Mar 17 2007 - Tiger Woods
Week ending Apr 14 2007 - Super Paper Mario
Week ending Apr 28 2007 - Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree
Week ending June 2 2007 - Mario Party 8 and Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition

Other than Resident Evil 4 none of those scored above a 74 on MetaCritic.
