I believe the shipment gap will be down to less than 2.5 million. 0 million when the year is over.

With 6.3m shipped and 50.8m by the end of December....well it seems like the 360 has been overtracked significantly over the holyday season and figures will be adjusted.

not at all...the adjustments already happened...  supply is very tight.  i dont expect much if any more adjustments.

6.3m is a record for the 360 for a quarter.

Shortages or not this thing can be found at stores with no problems in Europe and Japan (LOL), in the US there's some shortage on the most wanted SKUs while others are being left on the schelves.

With 50.8m shipped by the end of December sell through can't be at 51m in the third week of January. Imo 360 will be adjusted down by an other 500k.

44.15 6.3 = 50.45 mill, not 50.8 mill

Which is awful IMO. PS3 has a chance to outship 360 this Q, which means Kinect hasn't been as successful as MS are touting it. The blame lies soely on them, there is something they're doing that's wrong, whether it be failing to break into new markets or w.e

U.S sales are up 1 million over 2008, so that means sales are down everywhere else WW 700k this Q. So Kinect has had little impact elsewhere than UK and U.S ... for some reason

Kinect is only partionally function outside US and UK.  It will be interesting to see what happens to demand once voice control goes live to the rest of europe.

Plus, MS blew Nintendo out of the water for profits for the quarter.  Likely at least $200 to $300 million better.

No that's the exact number to show over 50m lifetime... I predicted 6.4m to 50.9m lifetime.

Yowch! Normally, I'd make fun of 360 fans, but I'm not feeling up to it with the pathetic Wii shipment. I have a feeling that the industry is in for a nasty shock with Sony's numbers as well.
