Well one point that came out from 3rd and 1st party devs is that it only took an matter of weeks to port existing games to sony's NGP. This could mean that 3rd party publishers could release multiple titles by using ps3 or 360 ports. Such games as MGS4 is to believe to be an ported title to the NGP.

But would you like ports of good PS3 titles to run along side NGP own titles and an whole range of PSN and PS suite titles (which could PS suite titles if successful could number in the 1000-10,000+ titles depending on how easy the platform is) 

I wouldn't mine future titles that release when the NGP release that were originally going to be PS3/360/PC and add NGP to the mix as well. So it gives options on what platform you wish to play on. 

Nothings wrong with ports as long as the games aren't rushed. A real Metal Gear Solid portable is just full of winand finally good fps on the go whats wrong with that.

I would and wouldn't.

I would as a NGP owner want to see the most content possible come out. I would love to be able to play all the same games I enjoyed on the PS3. This would be amazing and also boost software sales.

However I wouldn't likely buy titles twice. If Sony ported titles I would likely buy the PS3 version or the NGP version not both. If the NGP had an HDMI cord so I could play my games on the big screen I would consider purchasing the NGP versions over the PS3 versions.

But in the end I'm only going to buy one copy of the game so porting makes no difference to me. However a consumer who doesn't own a PS3 will benefit from ports.

No, I want PSP games playable on PS3.

That will REALLY depend on the game for me. Some might even work better on the NGP than the PS3, so it's something to look forward to IMO.

Only a few games

I want new and awesome JRPGs for the NGP. But considering the high development costs for a new game, I'm honestly concerned if some Japanese developers can afford or are willing to creat new games. Well, time will tell if developers will restrict their creativity only to the 3DS or the NGP or none of them.

 Yes, provided they come as 'extra' games in the software lineup as oppose to the main focus of games.

 Judging from what Sony showed off today though, it looks like the ports will just be an added bonus, which is rad.
