What major first party title has Sony ever released or announced for either this device or the PSP that wasn't based off of a console franchise?

What games does Sony that have sold along the same lines as games like Nintendogs and Pokemon? Nintendo caters to the handheld audience and knows it very well. I want you to tell me why I should be excited for this device if I have no interest in buying a PS3.

Are these going to be brand new games based of the Sony franchises or ports? Don't get me wrong the specs for this is ridiculous but I already have a PS3, why would I buy ports for the NGP? If you can transfer some PS3 games to it, that will be sweet but I'm definitely not going to re buy the same games.

I really don't care if you are excited or not. If you want to get nintendogs or pokemon, get a DS. This was not a gaming or lineup announcement, it was the PSP2. Just like the 3DS, we will get the full games by E3.

I'll handle the OP the way I want it thank you very much. I will leave them there for now for people to see the difference between the expectations before hand and what is real. I will remove aspects as new info comes in and add them instead. This is NOT the official NGP thread, this is a discussion thread for the event, such a thread will come later on. If you don't like how I handle this thread then don't enter it, your constant mumbling is getting annoying

People are attacking the PSP-2 NGP waayyy too much. As far as I know, since it doesn't even have a name, people should give it a break for not having games.
