i now suddenly have zero interest in 3ds, so sony did a good job. maybe i will be interested in 3ds again after sony announce the price and battery life :/

no, they didn't announce anything at all useful. Showed tech demoes, announce ONE game, and basically stated its a port machine for the first while. There was a massive amount of holes in this announcement. Trust me, I'm discussing this now with another staff member. There was no reason for this event to be live or even staged other than to say "hey nintendo, look here, pretty graphics."

ugh if you only saw the graphics and nothing else during the presentation, such as other capabilities, such as the tech, such as almost everything fans have been asking for, interesting possibilities in the control system, huge list of devs supporting it such as Activision, Rockstar, Koei, capcom and so on and so on...then you have missed the whole point of this presentation..
they will announce games, the release is far away with GDC, E3, GC and TGS in between...expect MANY new games to be shown there, this presentation was an introduction to the device, you went in expecting E3 then it's your fault

certainly, it's their purpose. and they've executed well enough. the real info should be revealed in E3.

Like Onibaka said, this was mainly done so that Sony could announce a product with very few leaks. Why do you think people (including me 
) are so hyped right now? If there had been tons of leaks like with the PSP Go, there would have been little to no hype for this thing come E3.
