-third the tough one for the married guys here (or the ladies) I'd like to find games the lady can play and if possible we can play together or competitively she likes bubble bubble a little bit of racing but more like mario kart, nfs is acceptable... but if you have the answer you know what i'm looking for LOL :P

PEGGLE.  She'll love it and you'll hate me for recommending it.  You may be interested in Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing.

-fifth is there any good party games now a days I remember on the first XBox a game called Kun Fu Chaos... that was pretty fun... something like that with a bunch of mini games

Get Viva Pinata Party Animals.  It's pretty fun in small doses (about an hour or so).

I do not know the PS3 version, but I am 360 and its awesome. although probably a fan of Ghostbusters fully understood, otherwise it is just random and rather stupid, third-person shooter. but for us fans, its cool because all the movements you make a great sound, which is a great gift to us.

yeap peggle was a winner... but I actually like it too lol... better than bust a move....

other than that nobody has good indie games to recommend so many are coming out it's hard to keep track and I know some  are fun for the price....

1. Tales of Vesperia

I'm afraid that'll be the only game you'll ever need beyond this point, my friend.

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

1. Tales of Vesperia has local co-op. Fable III does as well. I'd recommend either of those.

2. Splinter Cell: Conviction has its own co-op campaign, which is a lot of fun. Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light also has fantastic co-op.

I dunno about 3 and 4.

5. The only party games I know of right now are music games like Rock Band and Guitar Hero. Original Xbox had Fusion Frenzy, which was awesome, but I heard the sequel on the 360 was terrible, so I don't really know.

thanks

fable 3 has a local co op ??? lol didn't know that.. I'll check that out... how is tales of vesperia co op working ???

Tales has four player co-op. Once you go into a battle, each player takes control of one of the characters on your team. In the overworld, the first player controls the running around. From personal experience I can tell you that getting four JRPG loving friends and playing all at the same time is some of the greatest time I've ever had with a game. Video game ecstasy.

Fable 3 . . . Personally I thought Fable 2 was way better, but it's not bad.

Hmm, a local co-op RPG, I'd definitely have to put Sacred 2 forward if nobody has, despite its flaws, it's actually a really great game, it has a large world map with tons and tons of quests and sidequests to do, and to be honest, it looks gorgeous.

the problem with sacred is more the fact that you have to read 90% of the  quest dialogues..... I'm not lazy but like you said that game has a poop load of quest and sidequest..... I ended up spending more time reading about joe loosing his daughter in the mountain on the other side of the map when she actually got kidnapped by the ghost of her jealous husband on the island far up north that was killed by the wife of the guy she was cheating with in the village down south or something of that order.... I mean most of the quest and side quest had substance and were actually funny the game looks nice.... but I was reading more lines a day than when I read a book... more naration frome actors would have put that game in my favorites RPG list in a heart beat.... unfortunately I don't have the time to play games where I spend that much time reading anymore

and I wonder why they don't do RPG like boarderland concept derived into JRPG or fantasy RPG... the concept can work great with all kind of RPG once you split the screen.. and actually open the door to crazy quest... imagine a full co op RPG with a story line like lord of the ring... where the players  guet split up and you have to work together on other side of the kingdom to finish the game....
