I'm going to have to agree with Ebert on this one.
3D is being severely overutilized like it was in the 50's. I understand why. It's because the technology has improved a lot recently and people want to see it, but honestly I would rather see about 95% of all of the movies that are show in 3D the "normal" way. It can be great visually in a special effects heavy movie like Avatar, but I really don't want to put on the glasses to watch Shrek.
If 3D porn starts being shown in theaters, I'll check that out though.
