Is the Xbox 360 or Kinect in low supply in your region?

Yes 53 42.40%

No 72 57.60%

Total:125

In London UK and not many to be seen. Obviously is one of the biggest cities on the planet so lots of people buying them in comparison to smaller places.

I did see something interesting though when i was in town at the weekend. Was in CEX and people were buying Kinects 2nd hand at almost full price. I just don't get that. Even if it is out of stock i doubt it would take long to come back into stock. Surely a brand new one is better then a 2nd hand one? Especially one from CEX!

In London I've seen stores with minimal stock and others with plenty, plus it's been available online okay, so I'd say the issue in London has been more about missaligned stock to demand at the store vs big shortages of Kinect/360.  Of course, that's just in a small sample of stores in London.

I bought a 360 recently and never got the sense I couldn't get one (or Kinect) although just before Christmas Kinect was tight for a while.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Well according to Best Buy.  4 out of 6 out of Kinect 250GB bundle.  3 out of 6 out of Kinect 4GB bundle. 250GB and 4GB stand alone sold out of all 6 stores.  So I suspect (AS MICROSOFT SAID) that the shortage are just now starting to occur.

Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

Considering it is still available at Amazon, I'd say there can't be major shortages at this point.  I've seen them in the wild here in MA in the US (at Target & Toys R Us).  There weren't a lot of them but about 5 stand alones and slightly more bundles (250GB bundles).

Yes my local SPAR has a store filled with X360s.

Disconnect and self destruct, one bullet a time.

The two gamestops around me the walmart target and bestbuy all had multiple units in stock. The only thing that seemed low on stock was Move wands their was tons of bundles.

Online here in NZ a few places are out of stock/on order. Other places have stock but unknown as to how much they have.

I think the MS executives said they took Jan/Feb stock in order to satisfy Dec demand. Likely that means that shipments over the next few weeks will start to become constrained and once stores start to run out of present stock they may not get the replenishment they need to keep the Xbox 360 in stock.

Remember people it takes 48-96 hours to airfreight a console but up to 6 weeks to ship it via the ocean. Any shortages in consoles due to their taking consoles and air-freighting them will only start to show up once present stock is diminished and once the number of consoles landing on US/EU shores starts to drop off.

Tease.

As my walmart only has 4-5 systems on display at a time much like most other stores in the area i have no idea what they have "in stock".

I actully work in a store, but i havent checked the store-room for ages. either way it seems these shortages are primarily based in the US, i think Europe and Japan, theres probabily an adequate supply.

Plenty of both Kinects and Xbox360s in my area. Huge piles of unsold Slim X360s in all the electronics stores I've visited lately.

Meanwhile PS3s are nowhere to be found.
