Uncharted and Ratchet struggle to get to the 500,000 mark, yet a flawed game like Assassin's Creed easily crosses the 1 million mark; pathetic.

Did PS3 owners think that Jade Raymond came with the game?

AC has been LOVED by the userbase...It has a brilliant word of mouth here in UK n I love the game...it's the ONLY game where I have disagreed with reviewers..

I think that vgchartz considers them the same game, atleast previous ones. WE 10 (PES 6). Therefore they can be considered the same game.

She doesn't?!? that game could have used a cute French woman right out of the box, i'd give it game of the year.

stof: why is it odd? I really love uncharted but assassins is just by far the more impressive game and has the coolest setting for a game ever. And call of duty is a great game and has an excellent lineage. Do you think exclusives should sell better? And uncharted seems to sell pretty nicely and will be a great addition to the ps3 lineup.

Still, I was interested in both Ratchet and Uncharted and the demos for both games pretty much killed that interest.  Sad, in a way.

@Bodhesatva: How do you know how much Fifa will drop? Afterall this is the first time we got Christmas sales for Europe. And it will need only a little more than 100k. PES will be a million seller sooner but Fifa should also get there.

 Because sports games always have sales go way, way down after Christmas? The yearly franchises, I mean. 

Yearly sports franchises like Madden, Fifa, PES, and NBA have the worst legs of any genre, by a wide margin. Unless the PS3 magically breaks all historical trends from the PS2/360/Xbox, that's what will happen.

I still think it's likely it will make 1 million -- I said that in my original post -- but people will be SHOCKED how much the sports game in particular plummet in sales at the beginning of new year.  

When discussing the next million sellers, most people figured we'd be looking at Heavenly sword, Uncharted, R&C, and when each of those games opened to relatively lower sales, a lot of people didn't really see any shining lights saleswise.

It's mostly based on the perceptions around the boards here over the months.
