Forums - Sony - Did nobody get DC universe online?

I'm just wondering if I'm the only one that got DC universe online for the PS3? not one single thread about it. I guess mmo's on console's aren't that popular. I happen to like the game personally, but it's not perfect. I find it funny that they made the subscription automatic and can't find anything on how to cancel your subscription, after the intial 30 day free trial. Don't get me wrong it's a fun game, but I don't know if $15 a month is worth it,so what do other's think?

mmos on this site areat popular. but if you look at youtube many people got it

Being in 3rd place never felt so good

I tried like hell to buy it on Friday but it was sold out at Wal-Mart, K-Mart, and Gamestop.  I assume the game was either a big hit or Sony shipped a limited number of copies (PS3 version).

This is the peak and current number of online for today (quite similar, but the steam day is something like 9AM pacific standard time... well basically it started 3h30 mins ago... if I recall I saw a 10K a few days back)

Which is why my mind was blown.  The game's been out for a couple of weeks.  Never in the history of ever have I not been able to get a game on Day 1 if I wanted it.  Waiting this long, I should have been able to waltz in, waltz around the store, and waltz out with a copy.  When I didn't see it at Wal-Mart, I thought "No big deal.  I just won't be able to use my GF's 10% discount (she has a clerical job at the Distribution Center, BTW)."  When I went to Gamestop and they only had one copy of the $99 Collector's Edition, I thought "Uh, oh....".  When I went to K-Mart, and they were sold out, I said to myself, "Holy shit!  This game is selling very well!!"

I'm sure it's in stock now but it was going to be an impulse buy.  Now I'm kinda lukewarm about it--but don't be surprised if  I end up buying it, anyway.

Not yet... but soon.
