Also, I think maybe you need to change the OP, because many games won't be released outside of Japan, or in Japan, on most consoles. Heck, Epic Mickey still hasn't...

The issue with Japan is they also get a lot of exclusives as well (Tales of..., Dragon Quest, Xenoblade, Last Story, Sengoru, to name a few). So it's a tricky situation
But I think it would be best to disclude Japan, but any game released out of Japan in the EU and Americas this year counts as an exclusive in 2011? That seems the best way to get around it!

yeah i edited it to that, got rid of japan altogether is the write up. It needs to be neater haha
