I played through LBP2 and saw the approach it did, being a create new genres, created an excellent platformer with diverse play elements, more than usual in a platformer.  HOWEVER, being pumped by playing it through, and seeing the beta work, I was pumped to get ahold of some new user created content that wouldn't be platformers.  It is at this point, interest takes a BIG hit.  The question...

Where the heck do I find the cool new stuff?  I tried to find the Wolfenstein 3D beta, for example, and it isn't up.  Then I look for the Star Fox game, and not even sure how to find it.  Also, they threw in every single LBP1 level in there, which I thought would be cool.  HOWEVER, I wish I could filter it out.

So, my question remains: How the heck do you find the cool stuff?

well on the bit about filtering out the LBP1 levels: when you go into cool levels you can press triangle to filter what you're seeing which I use a lot to filter out single player games when with a group and LBP1 levels when I want to play something really new.

A lot of the beta stuff hasn't been made on the full game yet, most of those were just concepts that the creators wanted to flesh out more with all the tools in the full game so it'll be a bit before they're published again.  If you just want some random good levels MM picks are a great way to go otherwise there is always LBPcentral.com and you can use LBP.me to queue up whatever you find online for easier playing when you get into the game.
