Its hard to say what is 'fun' when it is subjective, and not objective. Multiplayer is fun, certainly, but to me, having the best dancing game makes it fun. Dance Central is the best dancing game in my subjective opinion because its the only one of any available title to require you to dance. Sure, it doesn't have multiplayer, but that will come. What will never come with Just Dance is actual dancing - that is, unless Ubisoft makes it for X360.

Well, everybody in my vicinity who is playing JD and JD2 is actually dancing and really trying to do the moves correctly, but I understand what you mean. And I totally agree, fun is totally subjective, to some simultaneous multiplayer dancing is more fun, to some precision dancing is more fun.

Regarding multiplayer coming in the future to DC - maybe yes and maybe not, but I live in the now and what I play now, not the future .

Yes, and if you played Dance Central now, you'd know why people really, really think its a great game. When the game demands you do 1:1 dance moves, it is pretty fun to pull off.

Oh, and there is that whole aerobic exercise aspect to it. A far better workout than most any other game on the market.

Oh, I never thought it was not a great game (at least for other people), just that dancing alone for me is less fun (I know others can "dance along", but they're not competing). As to having to pull 1:1 dance moves, that for me makes it actually less fun... As I said, different people have different ideas of what is fun.

Did you actually play Just Dance 2 and get good scores doing that? Because that is not what I experienced nor did other people who actually played it experience. And even if it were true so what? Do you use cheat codes in the games you play? I don't, and i have never seen anyone who was out to enjoy themselves play Just Dance by just moving the remote.

The most PRECISE dance game may be Dance Central, but the most FUN dance game is Just Dance 2  - yes by its very nature it is less precise than Dance Central, but my idea of having fun when dancing is dancing with others, and while you can dance along in Dance Central, it is not true multiplayer, while both Just Dance games are.

Less precise? What an understatement. Its waggle vs full body motion tracking.

Honestly, I've barely played Just Dance. My family owns it and the MJ game, their complaint is you don't actually have to do the dance. That's also what reviewers generally say. So either you or many reviewers are lying.

If you think Just Dance is more fun, good for you. A lot of us find a game that actually tracks you more fun. Just bear in mind games like Dance Central is the future of the

Opinions is one thing, but calling me a liar... (which you obviously are doing, hiding behind the "either"). Reported.

Reading through your original post again, you imply you can't get high scores by just waggling. But then you say "so what" if you can get high scores by waggling. Either you have to dance or you don't. Hence, you didn't clarify any importance of dancing.

But not being required to dance is the problem. If it doesn't actually require me to dance, then what's the point? At that rate I might as well dance to a DVD or something.

What if shooters allowed you to kill enemies without aiming the cross hair at the target? Or what if I get head shots by shooting their foot? Its just not a satisfying experience.

I added the numbers to the quote so I can respond

1. Yes, I imply that you can't get high scores by just waggling in JD2. What I then say is that even if it were the case (which from my experience it isn't), it still wouldn't matter - at least to me and everyone I have seen play the game.  So yes you have to dance to get high scores, but even if it was possible to cheat to get them, no one I know would. Why? Read the following.

2. Adventure games have walkthroughs on the Internet. If you read the walkthroughs in their entirety, you are not required to try to solve anything at all while playing the game. Action games have cheat codes. If you use these cheat codes, no skill at all is required to beat these games. So I might as well just rent a DVD of a good murder mystery or an excellent action movie, the story, pace and production values will be of much higher quality

3. But Easy mode in many shooters means just that - mechanisms are set in place requiring far less skill to beat the game. So what I would do in such cases is not play Easy mode.

You're really going on a tangent. I'll just give brief answers.

1. If dancing isn't required it doesn't feel like much of a game to me.

2. Most people just refer to walkthroughs when they get stuck. Cheats are more of a retro thing, most people don't bother with them and most games don't have them. Games have more compelling stories than movies in my opinion and they don't wrap it up in 90 minutes so they can be deeper, have more twist, etc.

3. Your analogy is just terrible.

We're done. Good day sir.

That's great for MS. I'm very happy that it got the success it deserved.

However, Just Dance 2 is the single greatest dance game for parties ever. Laughing at 4 people is better then laughing at 1. :P

Agreed. Got Dance Central last week, best dance game/casual game ever made. By far.

I'd pay a million bucks for a video of Squilliam and Seece dancing to Justin Bieber's  "Baby" on Dance Central 2 (I bet my life this song will be in the sequal)
