The fact you don't like Nintendo is no reason to make statements like these, Apple doesn't have true SW

Looking at your post history, I doubt you have a DS.
And really, plenty of Iphone games are ports of other games that get poor reviews because the touch doesn't work, with Infinity Blade or Chaos Rings being notable exceptions.
I dont see a concern. Apple, for as much money as they have, do not make convincing, viable games, nor hire/buyout people to do such. If Apple wanted to be a dominant game company, they could have a few years ago.
So yes, while Apple may use glasses-free 3D tech, they won't be really affecting the gaming market at all. If anyone would be at a disadvantage, its Sony and other companies making 3Dtvs that require glasses. As Apple and other companies make larger screens, glass-free tvs will start coming out.

Dude i was just kidding, sheesh. And for your information, I have played hundreds of hours of the pokemans =p

I don`t really think it will take support away from 3DS. The million or multi-million dollar games will have to be created on 3DS to make a profit because only there will they be able to sell it for 40 something bucks. And only on handhelds that price seems to be feasable.
I have heard and read how games sell a lot on the Iphone and such, but i bet they don`t sell for the regular handheld gaming price.

Who cares? Everyone keeps talking about how Apple will steal marketshare from Nintendo in the portable space. Correlation does not mean causation. A lot of game apps are downloaded on the iPhone. However, no individual data has been given outside of a few apps (Angry Birds, for instance). Then comes the fact that a lot of the overall tallies include demos and free apps. Then you have the difficult task of trying to determine who is buying an iPod or iPhone for what purpose. The primary function of an iPod is to listen to music. The primary purpose of an iPhone is to make phone calls and send texts. It is then difficult to develop a clear understanding of how well the devices perform in the multipurpose arena.
Are there people buying the iPod primarily or just for games? Probably. Are they a large number of the consumers interested in this product? Nobody can say for sure. On the other hand, we know for a fact that 100% of the people buying a Nintendo DS, are going to play video games on it. Also, I am sick of Pachter. This guy throws out ASSUMPTIONS left and right. I've seen more accuracy come from geeks on message boards. He is either "predicting" the obvious, or making some assumption with little to no evidence.

I agree Apple will incorporate 3D glasses free technology into future devices. However I don't think these devices pose a direct threat to Nintendo. The biggest threat I see to 3DS is this motion sickness thing, if gamers really do get motion sick after playing more then 10-minutes it will be very bad. However many people have not gotten motion sick while a few have.
I don't see Apple over powering Nintendo for another generation or two!

i kind of guessed that apple would copy that tech. actually, not just apple -- everyone. nintendo probably only has 8-9 months before that tech is availible in lots of other places. remember CES, every camera had a glassesless 3D display. nintendo won't have long to capitalize on this me-thinks.
