I just realised that the 3DS is launching in a few colours. While pre-orders began getting accepted in November I was never asked which colour I wanted. At the time I didn't even think their would be multiple colours availible launch day since both the Wii and DS didn't have multiple colours day one.

Now I never pre-ordered my GBA or GameCube I bought them day one and was able to pick my colour (GBA) but GameCube was purple.

So does anybody know can you request a specific colour? Can I go back to EBGames with my pre-order reciept and ask for my colour? Has anybody been able to pre-order which colour they want? Personally I want Black I'd hate to get a random colour.

Well I went to EBGames and asked today. The lady told me that the default colour is Black but if I wanted blue I would have to pre-order a blue unit now. I asked if that meant loosing my place in line and she said yes. So am I willing to risk not getting a 3DS day one because I want blue. Hell no I'm getting my unit day one.

Anyone pre-ordering Blue, or are you going with the default (Black)?
