Forums - Nintendo - Got Tomb Raider for Wii, what a good game

Another Wii game with great legs, figuratively or litterally... you decide. I'm considering in buying it myself.

That's good to know cos IGN said something along the lines of Laura feels very clunky compared to the smooth prince of persia control

Is that somehow a response to my post? The controls in Tomb Raider are definitely better than in Prince of Persia, especially in the Wii versions of these games. Combat is unresponsive in Rival Swords, it's not easy to get the timing right to perform the combo you wish to do.

Yeah it is in response to your post - I had POP in my hand yesterday and couldn't decide to buy Tomb Raider or that due to the IGn comment about how they got it better compared to Tomb Raider.  For the first hour or so playing Tomb raider I was wondering if I should take it back and swap it but it feels better now as it may have been just Web Site Talk.

"With the DS, it's fair to say that Nintendo stepped out of the technical race and went for a feature differentiation with the touch screen, but I fear that it won't have a lasting impact beyond that of a gimmick - so the long-lasting appeal of the platform is at peril as a direct result of that." - Phil Harrison, Sony

It's definitely worth playing - for me personally i've just played through SMG and playing this now it feels good to have to sit and think where to go next but I loved the first 2 Tom Raiders and Legends.

I had it for a while now, but I haven't started playing through it yet. I did check it out and I had no problem with the controls and actually thought they worked quite fine. The graphics are nice too.
