Uhh dude, shave your head! That way you will be bald by choice!

I'll look hideous that way, I don't run away from problems in life.

You won't be running away, you'll be like "Life, bitch, I don't take shit from no one!"

But I won't look good, I am obsessed about looking attractive, my girlfriend would hate it too. I love my hair anyway, I could never be bald.

Chyeah true, neither could I. You're right, bald just doesn't really suit some people, me included. I'd verify that it's not just some random hair withdrawl before taking any medications, I've started to lose quite alot of hair when showering too, and I am only 18. But I think that's because it's moderate length luckily no sign of the bald patches here.

Disconnect and self destruct, one bullet a time.

Read the chapter 'Hair Loss'.

Get a prescription from your dermatologist for Proscar (not Propecia because it is very expensive)  or a generic of Proscar to save even more money.

This should cost you 60-75 Euros for 500(!) days.

After this post I feel like some kind of spammer.

P.S.

Finasteride works only if you'll take it as early as possible, which seems to be the case for you.  And its impact  is more prophylactic than anything else. If you will wait a couple of years and have lost a good portion of your hair it will be to late and it will NOT come back through Finasteride.

Thanks man I hope its still very early stages and something can be done. Thanks for your response, I'll see a dermatologist immediately.

Here are pictures of the back of my hair:

I hope its not too late!

Hey man, at least you didn't notice your hair thinning at age 21.. I'm now 24 and my bald spot is getting to be quite pronounced. Not an easy thing to deal with when you want to make a good impression with the ladies, especially since I'm not that I'm pretty shy around them anyway :/.

I'm thinking of just shaving my head completely if it gets much worse, hell if I'm gonna be bald anyway, I might as well do it on my own terms. Plus I despise the look of having just some hair on the sides and nothing else, I'd rather have no hair at all. If you want your hair back enough though, you might wanna check out the Rogaine foam. I haven't used it lately (not really fond of the smell it leaves on your hands for most of the day), but during the short period that I did, people actually commented that they noticed my hair seemed thicker where my bald spot was. If you do plan on using, don't wait too long. It's best to use during the early stages of hair loss.

Hang in there man. I hope those drugs will work for me. I have also been searching on the net and found out Hair Transplant is a viable method now, there's a place in China that specialises in scarless hair transplant, so you might want to look into that.

Dude I wouldn't worry to much, your in your early 20's your probubly not going bald. The picture doesn't look that bad either so I wouldn't give it much thought. Now when your in your 30's around when your dad started going bald, or if it continues to look like your going bald. Maybe consult your physician to confirm it before you start treating it with drugs.

I have been worried about this for awhile too I feel for you brother I'm losing  a lot of hair in the fron at ony twenty six and no one can give me a real answer. I thought abought rogaine, but you have to use it twice a day every day for the rest of your life for it to work.

And i to worry as I consider myself hotshit with a great head of hair and so do the ladies. Luckily, all the women I asked still think I would be hot shit even as a skinhead. Good luck, as long as you feel you look good now you will still look good with a shaved head. PEACE

Shave your hair off and keep to that style. No one will notice when you do go bald.
