This proves steel batallion will be awsome :D

Still no known way to move forward though or how to make it fire.

I wonder if it will come with a packaged controller(s) for your hand(s).

There have been plenty of hacks showing how you could move about using Kinect.

well for a game you really do not need the arm movement, just the torso, so for moving you can use  your arms as input.... being a bit imaginative you have this :

palm to advance (push forward for the throttle as it recognizes depth), close fist to stop, straight arm to the side for turning left and right, arm down for kneel, arm up to jump.... and for shooting, you use your other arm, as it's a mech, you use machine guns not single trigers, so you use arm up for rockets, palm for open machine gun fire, fist for stop fireing, and extanded arm to the side for shoot everything.

OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO

Oh man that is just too cool! Imagine the possibilities!

But how you'd shoot, use basic cover etc is beyond me still. I don't think it'll work well with competitive FPS without a comprehensive controller integration :(

Disconnect and self destruct, one bullet a time.

Damn hackers! This will obviously lead to piracy!!!

Sig thanks to Saber! :D

This has an intriguing future.

I can imagine the US military getting ahold of a kinect, and controlling this guy instead of a toy:

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
