No it doesn't ... and that's not the reason. PS3 is relatively high WW as well, and it hasn't had the same problems outselling 360.

PS3 is £249, 360 is £199 and £149.

If you read the OP you'll see how popular the 360 is in the UK.

The PS3  has no chance of ever catching the 360 in both UK and US. It's way more than just price. 

Doesn't matter, you're not going to see some massive PS3 outburst when it drops to £199. Especially with Kinect taking off so well in the UK. Around half the 360's sold over the holiday season are estimated to be Kinect bundles, which were £249 and £299.

Scenario 2 seems likely...Then again, Scenario 3 isn't too different. 

The problem isn't just the price. The PlayStation brand in NA and the UK has been tarnished pretty bad compared to the other two.

OT: I see scenario 2-3 happening...leaning a bit more towards two.

The biggest problem is the price... all my friends who own an xbox tells me that the reason they dont wanna buy a ps3 is because of the price.. they wanna wait for the price drop

If you look at attach rates, the average gamer has spent well over £750 this generation. After 4 years, most people that want a PS3 can afford it if they want it.

The question I have is are these VGC numbers you are using?  I would imagine so.  And if it is then we really can't go by them for the PS2.  Otherwise you would have to believe that there are over 5 1/2 mil PS2's in stores WW and yet they keep asking Sony to ship more.  Do we have any official numbers for the UK?
