Hehe, rest up. You'll need it.

Man you have super human skills to do this all on your own, I mean the real le mans is completed using more the one driver :P.

I plan on getting a wheel as soon as I can get the money. I use the ZR1 RM for the A-spec indy and the FGT for B-spec Dream Car Championship. I haven't gotten to lvl30 yet in a-spec to get the X2010 and i'm afraid that I might not be able to complete it with my DS3. =

Nahhh, I just had a lot of free time this weekend and a lot of patience as well

The Sebastian Vettel challenge is doable with a DS3, but I haven't seen anyone get beyond silver with it. Everyone I've read over at GTplanet, who have the Gold on that challenge, were all driving with a wheel.

Heck, even with a wheel, getting gold on Suzuka was almost impossible for me >_<.

I tried the Vettel challenge and I'm so far off the pace it's not even funny (for Bronze!). I've watched the vid of you doing Suzuka, and the demos of Vettel, and I have no clue how you guys can brake so late and turn in so quick, especially with DS3.

Absolute respect for being able to gold all three.

I haven't tried it with a DS3, but with a wheel, to be able to make those turns, I had to turn it pretty agressively.

It also helps to have a bit of acceleration when turning, as the fan effect is increased when the engine is in the low RPM yield.

I have the same problem with the vettel challenge, can't get close to bronze. It seems there's a delay on turning with the ds3, or maybe I'm starting to notice my display lag now with this car. I'm always too late with turning and turn slightly too long. I wish it would let you practice for a while instead of resetting every time you go too far off course.

If anyone needs an X2010 to train, I can always lend my blue coloured X2010, just as long as it isn't used for duping >_<

Are you gonna get to lvl40 just by doing this 24hr over and over? o.o WTF PD!!!

It's either 4 more Le Mans 24H or 28 Suzuka 1000Km races to get from level 37 to level 40.

I'm going to do the Suzuka way. With the X2010 it will be much faster, plus, I can save between endurances

Nice review, it made me willing to finally make up my mind to reinstall Windows on my desktop and race again. My wheel is fed up of collecting dust!!!

isn't it a bit stupid you can't save it at anytime,it sounds insane

i mean 1 person doesn't do it in the real thing do they

i'm amazed you did it,you must like GT5 a hell of a lot

if you need that trophy to plat it will separate the men from the boys

Are you having difficulty getting Bronze on every track? Well, first, make sure you're driving with TCS off, since the X2010 has an amazing grip and hardly ever over-spins it's wheels, you don't actually need it on as it will only diminish your acceleration power coming out of corners.

Second, you could try activating Skid Recovery Force. There's no shame in using it for this challenge, as a lot of people that have even got gold in this event, had it on. It will allow you to "throw" the X2010 around corners, especially on Suzuka and Nürburgring. On Monza, you can always try to cut the second chicane, I've heard it allows you to shave almost 1.5 seconds off the time.

Lastly, I also recommend you watching and study other people's gold time videos, to learn what were the lines that they took. I'll link you mine from Suzuka and Nürburgring, I didn't save my Monza replay, sorry.

Yeah, it's is quite stupid. I was always dreading that I could get a power cut at any time

On the real endurance, teams of 2 - 3 drivers each, take shifts of 8 hours, it would be quite impossible for one driver alone to last the 24 whole hours, given the physical extenuation caused by the G-forces and other factors.
This race isn't that hard, in terms of needing it for the plat trophy, it's more of a trial of patience, like the 24Hrs of Nürburgring endurance at level 40.

What's really going to be the dividing line between those who get the plat, and those who will be left with 95% trophies, is going to be the Sebastian Vettel challenge. As there's a trophy that requires you to get gold in every single event in the game, it will be very difficult for everyone to get it on that challenge.

can you imagine getting a power cut or the cat hits the power button for a few seconds in the last hour, that would send you over the edge

sounds like an insane platinum,i do think some games take it to the extreme with plats with what they ask you to do

Yeah that's true. Games like Wipeout, KZ2 or GT5 currently, have some insane trophies to get. On the other hand, there are games in which the plat is ridiculously easy to get, like my recent plat on Dante's Inferno. Took me less than 20 hours to get it, less time than to finish Le Mans 24 Hrs >_<.
