As many of you know,google.com is the site with the most traffic on the web,with facebook.com coming in second.

Right now,google has around 8M more daily global users than facebook,though facebook has seen a better increase in the past few months.

My question is,will Facebook ever beat Google?I think it can in the long run,but it needs something new...something HUGE.

Google basically can't bring anything new to the table,at least that's what I think,while Facebook can certainly improve a lot.

Google can't bring anything they want to the table. What if they decide to compete directly with facebook on the social networking scene? I mean honestly you think there is nothing google can bring to the table? The company that started as a search engine and now does maps, directions, video, email, OS, Browsers, a mobile OS, and they have nothing to bring? What does facebook have that google can't just do themselves?

If Facebook overcomes Google I'll leave the internet.

By google,I mean google.com,not the whole company.

the thing is, is that annoying search bar directly linked to google.com if not i could see facebook overtaking, or if bing shows a real competition to google, infact i wouldnt might seeing bings improvement.

Otherwise doubtful imo

Facebook is growing faster though.

and bing is munching, look at the growth its amazing, if google gets done it will be because of bing.

By the way people,Facebook actually had MORE traffic than Google in a week,and that week was the one ending March 13,2010.

that was around my birthday, people were making sure I was wished happy birthday. My birthday is march 5. My friends can be pretty persistant :p
